Budget Transparency

Initially, HaqCheck is formed inside Addis Zeybe, a digital news outlet in Ethiopia, as a desk with the financial support of the Open Society Initiative for East Africa(OSIEA). Later, it reconfigured itself as countering the disinformation initiative of a newly established local non-profit organization, Inform Africa.

Inform Africa is registered as a CSO under the Ethiopia Civil Society Organizations Proclamation 1113/2019 in 2021.
